What kinds of products do you customize?
Brember Designs was made for projects -- just ask and you shall receive. Engravable items include: powder and non-coated stainless steel tumblers, mugs, cups, bottle openers, anodized dog/pet tags, business cards, stainless steel wallet multi-tool cards, flashlights, metal/wood keychains, stainless steel knives (etched black), wood tags, signs, plaques, cutting boards, miscellaneous mediums (plywood, reclaimed pallet boards, rustic, cleaned), glass drinkware, and coasters (wood, slate, cork.) Overall, I can work with any of the following mediums: coated metals, clean metals, anodized metals, wood, acrylic, glass, leather, slate, and card stock. I have recently added customized hats to my offerings.
If I provide the item, can you engrave it?
Short answer, YES. My clients are welcome to provide the engravable medium under some circumstances, but this is not preferred. Please be aware that mistakes do happen! If you provide an item that is one of a kind PLEASE KNOW THERE IS RISK INVOLVED! I will do as much testing and preparation as possible to ensure the item is engraved successfully. In the case of a machinery mishap, if a similar replacement item can be acquired --- with your approval --- I will engrave the replacement at its face value with no additional labor charge (to compensate the supply cost only). For bulk orders, I request extra pieces for proper testing and to account for this. Any “leftovers” from the project will be returned to the customer or engraved at the customer’s request.
Cups are typically provided (pricing varies) to ensure the best quality outcome.
What format is required for reference photos?
In order to achieve the best engraving possible I ask customers to send me their logo in a clear black and white format when available. I am able to convert color images however some detail may be lost.
Do you ship?
Shipping available to US only at this time. Please specify that shipping is needed upon inquiring for shipping quote. I generally use USPS but can ship other carriers should you prefer and supply account information or label. If you are local to the Richmond area, pick up or delivery can be arranged.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Usual lead time is 1-2 weeks. Larger orders may take longer depending on material availability. In a rush I can partial ship for the customer to meet their needs. If I have the specific item in stock I can usually turn it around in 1-2 days.
Have you ever/Can you... ?
The short answer is LET ME TRY! My goal is to provide you with a fully customized product, designed to your specifications. I’ll try at no cost to you and send you a photo of the sample. And if I can’t get a favorable result to you, I will try to offer alternative solutions, or even suggest another craftsman that may be able to suit your request. I take pride in giving great customer service.
What is your refund policy?
Because these are customized and made to order, the only returns accepted are items damaged in shipping, and a replacement will be provided at no cost.
Do you provide samples?
For custom first time orders I always provide a photo of the engraved design prior to running the final product. It takes a little more time but I want to ensure the customer is completely satisfied with the design and result.
How do I pay you?
I accept venmo, paypal, zelle, and can provide estimates, invoicing, and accept credit card payments through square.
